Never ever great things are achieved by traveling on clearly visible path offering least resistance , although it may seem to be most logical thing to do in that particular moment.Civilization values visionaries precisely for their ability to see beyond obvious and hence lead on a path looking hazardous in beginning but in the end leads to victory and achievements beyond the expectations of a normal mortal.Same is the case with the Approach of Indian leadership which is ready to pay any price to avoid confrontation and refrains from asserting its obvious rights .Presently this attitude may look as peace seeking responsible behavior. BUT IS IT SO ? India wishes to be Seen as a world power and Indians think they are going to dominate the global affairs in coming decade." BUT AS IT IS SAID IF WISHES WERE HORSES ,BEGGARS WOULD HAD BEEN THE FIRST TO RIDE IT." We have to understand that till our approach and attitude are aligned with our ambition they shall remain mere wish. Running to USA after each assault and uttering verbal admonishment to the perpetrators Indian leadership thinks that it has done its duty .Indian behavior since independence barring the Period when Indira was leading the country has completely eroded the seriousness of Indian assertions and ability to follow through by action.Just go back 75 years in world history and you shall find that world power England and France echoed our present approach and that lead to WW-II . Tendency to avoid confrontation and postpone assertion motivated Hitler to expand his ambition to make Germans the ruling group and his faith in race superiority . Today Jihadis are doing the same as they believe people following Islam are superior to others and It is the right of Muslims to rule the world. AS Hitler gave palatable reasons to justify his actions to cover up his heinous ambitions , today you find jihadis and those backing them are justifying motivation for these barbaric acts as alleged injustice and discrimination against them. These justifications are nothing but Al Taquia" (lie to the infidels for the sake of promoting Islam) to deflect concerted and unified resistance against them by those who are not part of this barbaric philosophy .We need to throw this attitude of ''WAR IS NOT THE OPTION '' syndrome as it assures them that their acts shall not have any reaction which can cause physical destruction to them.Today India needs to have significant military presence In Afghanistan along with its other development activities there . Future opportunities available in that region justifies this investment as we need to secure our energy supplies. India needs to More than double up its defense budget and proactively motivate private sector to start manufacturing arms and develop defense technology . By exploiting the huge market of military supplies we can easily fund our endeavor to become a military power having the punch behind its admonishments all over the globe. Otherwise Indians should prepare themselves to continue being humiliated and anticipate nuclear annihilation in coming years.
